Description

Early medieval bottom whorl style, whorl made from asbestos-free soapstone (Brazilian, I think), weighs only 25 g.
Shaft made from birchwood. Very light spindle for spinning fine yarns. The yarn shown is naturally grey wool from Gotland sheep.
